StruM.I.S Supplier
StruM.I.S .NET Supplier
StruM.I.S .NET is now available as a separate license specifically for material Suppliers (Steel Mills and Steel Suppliers) or for those users that wish to add value and nest the material requirement from StruCad with minimal effort. This includes the ability to create and manage Customer material lists, automatic nesting/optimization of material lists and the creation of Sales Order Quotations.
A significant benefit of the StruM.I.S .NET Supplier license is the ability to efficiently receive electronic transmissions from customers using the StruM.I.S .NET system. These EDI transmissions enable instant import of materials requirements into StruM.I.S .NET Supplier - facilitating streamlined interrogation and optimization of materials.
StruM.I.S .NET Supplier is designed to replace time spent calculating optimum schedules from steel available and enables the user to automatically pull data from a CAD source - i.e. StruCad model, and display the sections required in a summarized list. A detailed cutting plan is produced, showing each bar and the items to be cut including length and mark number. All cuts take into account parameters such as blade width and cleaning allowanced etc. Material batches are stored and can be recalled at any time. A summary sheet is then produced itemizing total length, weight and wastage of the nest for that section size.
A summary of some of the key features of this module of StruM.I.S .NET includes:
- Management of customer details
- Electronic receipt of material requirements (material lists) from Customers using StruM.I.S .NET.
- Creation and Electronic transmission of Sales Order Quotations to Customers
- Import of material requirements from Customers using structural steelwork detailing software, such as StruCad
