Each StruCad model contains a database of information that can be used to automatically generate drawings and reports on demand. Once issued, any further alterations to the model are managed by a revision control system which updates drawings and reports automatically.

The fully functional 2D CAD system within StruCad allows viewing and printing of automatic fabrication drawing output, as well as providing freedom to add further customization. The accuracy of output associated with StruCad is such that drawings may be issued straight to the workshop, with little editing and re-checking processes required.
