IRCON Ltd, Bulgaria adopt StruCad modelling solution

IRCON Ltd is a leading company in the field of structural engineering, design and project management, based in Sofia, Bulgaria. Since its initial establishment in 1996, IRCON has been working in pursuit of excellence mainly in areas of modern buildings and hi-tech industrial facilities, focusing its mainstream business in the domain of innovative steel structures. IRCON is responsible for the design of many new hi-tech steel buildings in Bulgaria.
In search of an advanced steel modelling software system early last year, IRCON chose StruCad after contacting CCS of Athens, Greece. The first project that was fully detailed with StruCad was a considerable success - a new bio ethanol industrial facility located in Gorna Malina, near Sofia. The StruCad system is rapidly adopted and therefore it was possible for IRCON to detail this complex structure as their first project. Currently, IRCON operates 4 StruCad licences and according to Dr Mihail Tzankov, general manager of IRCON: "StruCAD has given us a very strong competitive advantage. It is a powerful tool that improved the overall performance of our steel design department".
