2008 AceCad Software User Group Meeting, Las Vegas, NV, October 9-10

AceCad Software Inc is proud to announce the dates for its 2008 North American User Group Meeting - to be held at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, NV on October 9th and 10th.
This year’s AceCad Software North American User Group Meeting will be focused around the imminent release of StruCad V15 which incorporates the revolutionary StruCad Model Manager. Delivering far more than just simultaneous modeling, the StruCad Model Manager will streamline working practices and deliver significant productivity and efficiency advantages to the detailing industry, whilst enabling rapid and advanced issuing and control, combined with unlimited collaboration opportunity. StruCad V15 will also include substantial new content in the form of AISC simple connection design macros together with additional significant productivity enhancements - all wrapped in a completely new look and feel workspace. Pivotal to AceCad’s Fabrication Information Modeling solution, AceCad Software Inc will also showcase the latest StruM.I.S .NET management and production information software. AceCad’s latest StruM.I.S .NET release includes substantial new features delivering further productivity and efficiency advantages from estimating, through purchasing, stock management, contracts management, fabrication routing and production control to erection.

- The Structural Fabrication Shop of the Future
Mr Lyle Menke (VP of Marketing), Mr Kirk Kempen (Software Engineer), and Mr Mike Mullikin (Software Engineer) - Peddinghaus Corporation.
Mr Lyle Menke will be presented the future of the fabrication process, Peddinghaus’ latest advanced fabrication machinery and how Peddinghaus links with AceCad Software through DSTV.
- Streamlining CAD/CAM for Manufacturing Structural Steel Design
Mr Ben TerreBlanche (President/CEO) and Mr Glenn Binder (VP of Sales and Marketing). - SigmaTEK.
Mr TerreBlanche will be focusing on technology improvements which have allowed engineers to integrate CAD to CAM electronically via computerization - specifically the advanced connection between StruCad and SigmaNEST from SigmaTEK.
- Building for Tomorrow with Steel
Mr Peter Timler, formally of CISC (Corporate Business Development Officer and Vice President) - Supreme Group.
Mr Peter Timler will be focusing on the steel industries organizations and how they are utilizing the BIM concept. He will also touch on the CISC’s new appendix on Digital Modeling to their Code of Standard Practice.
- StruMac development by ACL
Mr Cory Le Page (President) - ACL Structural Group.
Mr Cory LePage will focus on how AceCad Software’s StruMac development software can be used to improve users overall detailing operations.
- Steel Construction Challenges and Opportunities
Roger Ferch (President) - American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC).
Mr Roger Ferch will be discussing the challenges that are faced everyday in the steel construction industry; along with the opportunities that are also available.
We are also pleased to welcome as special guests both Don Oborowsky (President) - Waiward Steel Fabricators and Danny Steyn (Vice President) - Ocean Machinery.
