StruCad StruMac Developers - UK

The Position

 The successful candidate will:

  • Undertake a comprehensive training course on StruMac programming for StruCad.
  • Carry out ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting of existing connection and CAD programs.
  • Develop new steel detailing connection and CAD programs for StruCad. 
  • Ultimately develop user interfaces for these programs and liaise with AceCad offices worldwide.

 The Candidate

  • Ideally a Structural or Civil Engineering background (HNC, HND, Degree, etc...).
  • Preferably some experience of Steel or Concrete design and/or detailing.
  • Experience of using CAD packages an advantage - ideally StruCad but otherwise AutoCad etc
  • An interest in programming (experience of any language eg Lisp, Visual Basic, C++, Fortran, etc. would be useful although is not essential)
  • Good mathematical skills.

The position is based at our Head Office in Derby. The successful candidate will join our experienced and growing team. Appropriate professional training is available to the right candidate.
