Structural Steelwork ’StruCad’ Detailer, Touchline Fabrications Ltd - UK
This role is an ideal opportunity for a confident, well organised and commercially aware StruCad detailer with experience of working within the structural steelwork industry.
Touchline Fabrications is a busy family owned company with purpose built fabrication facility in Preston Lancashire. The successful candidate will be required to manage the drawing duties for typical small to mid size commercial, industrial and public sector projects through to and including the detailing of small architectural steelwork projects.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and with the support of existing staff members will be expected to ensure the smooth flow of information from the drawing office to the relevant departments or third parties, including the subcontracting of detailing work where necessary.
Essential Criteria:
- Min 5 years experience using StruCad 3D modelling system producing detail fabrication & GA drawings.
- Experience of raising and providing variation claim evidence on technical issues.
- Must be able to work to deadlines using own initiative.
Desirable Criteria:
- Manual detailing experience
- Basic Knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Remuneration package negotiable depending upon experience.
